Dealer Inventory search
Is there a web site that lists all the Corvette's still in dealer inventory? The one on the GM website doesn't allow a nation wide search, only local. I'm trying to find a 2015 or 2016 Z06 convertible, M7, long beach red metallic, 2LZ or 3LZ, PDR, NAV, chrome wheels. There was one back in 2008 as i used it to buy my 2007 Vert.

I was in the market for one back in June/July. Found one local but wanted to compare price due to having a trade in. I called GM customer service and they did a 500 mi check for me.

There is no public nationwide search last I looked (a couple of months back, fairly extensively). There had been a couple of years back, but the guy running it stopped for some reason.
The closest I've come is a list of most populous Zip codes and then searching within 200 miles (or whatever the dropdown allows) of each to cover the major markets. Takes about 10 searches to cover 90% of the country.

There has not been a search engine for corvette inventory that would check the whole USA since Jeff Hardy. Believe me, he helped Chevrolet sell me a few Corvettes.
When you are on the Chevy website doing a build, you can start a chat with a representative and ask them to check for the exact car you want.
Model, trim, color, options, etc.
I just did this and they found one 1100 miles from my home. I called, made a deal over the phone, did the paperwork by mail, flew to pick it up, and drove home.
Worked for me.

Cars.com is a very useful website for searching for
new vehicles. I used it to find my 2016 Z06 which I purchased in June. Cargurus is another one.

I've had dealers search for me for cars and tell me NOTHING was available nationwide, only to find it myself 20 miles away at a competing dealership. I don't know when they're incentivized to help you find something at another dealer... unless they can dealer trade.
Having the dealer search inevitably leads to "You want what? No, you want what I have on the lot right here in stock! Oh, if I had to dealer trade for it I could never get you THIS price. And the last thing you want to do is order, that'd be full price..."

I have actually been able to do this...fact is the dealer has access to all the inventory nationwide...
whether or not they'll co-operate with you is another matter. If they don't find another dealer.

While maybe not the best, and not always realtime, autotrader.com is pretty user friendly...

Searched 300+ white automatic new Z06 and came away with 25 that would work for me and probably another 25 that have the Z07 package I am trying to avoid.
If you're looking for black interior, there were a ton. Wish cars.com included LZ trims, would make things a hundred times easier.
