Briefly Met An Audi R8 V-10
Feel pretty good as I just got home from smokin an R8 V-10 on I-75
He took off at 85 and I had him in my rear view mirror at 128!
Guess 560 ponies can't handle a Z06...
Needless to say he wasn't happy....oh well

Thanks I'm aware of the capabilities of high Performance AWD vehicles. I used to have a Typhon AWD that would smoke just about everything as it had little tire spin and took off like a rocket!
That's why I am contemplating a X5 M Series for the winter to fill my HP withdrawal...

i ran into one in Chicago, it wasn't evan close. Considering the price of those I would think he went home and bought 2 Z06's. He did give me a big smile and a thumbs up when we separated. It is kind of a cool looking car. Sounded like a pissed off bumble bee, very high reving. Anyway, it was pretty fun.

^ For a street car, nothing short of a Porsche is going to run the GTR from a dig. I came from a GTR into my Z06. I like everything about the Z06 better than the GTR other than the launch.

I had a 2005 JGC SRT8.
Fantastic fun...I loved the thing.
Wished I hadn't sold it.

Have a buddy with one that's rocking a 426 modded hemi. First track day/run,he put down a 10.79! Not sure what he's running now with his new tune and charger pulley. He was around 700hp at the wheels. The guy is as big and bad as the truck.

Awesome you took the R8. Those are some special cars though. One of my favorites.

i don't. But you get my intent I hope. I too have been caught out with the slower vehicle. You have to come to terms that there is always someone faster, it actually makes losing enjoyable. Just enjoy the fun.

I sold my R8 V10 2 months ago, with ECU/TCU, exhaust and BMC filters. My R8 is around 11mph faster on the straight way at circuit of the Americas than my Z07 stage 3. Granted the Z07 stage 3 hits a wall after 125mph and really slows down. My old R8 would pull a C7Z at top speeds, it was modded though ha.
