Yesterday while getting service on my 2015 Silverado, I decided to review the Vette inventory of my local Chevy dealer, Selman Chevy in Orange CA.

I counted 2 Grand Sports, 22 Sting Rays, and 10 Z06s.

Salesguy approached me as I was checking out the cars, and within 2 minutes asked me what I would play for the black Z06 that I was checking out....

Told me he could get me a great deal. Not wishing to waste this or my time I declined to pay the bid game.

Plenty happy with my 2011 Z06 for now.

Just thought it was interesting.

Last year at this time they have a Z06 on the showroom floor with a $10,000 mark up over sticker.....

Sounds like the price is right, time to upgrade. You'll love it, it's a completely different car. I liked my C6Z, but I wouldn't take 5 of them in trade back now.

But having no manual transmissions available would be....sad sad sad....and you are probably correct in your assessment....

Believe me, if my left knee would allow for the use on a continuous basis of an M7 I would have it. Had my employer not gone to automatics in the new trucks I would have had to retire. One can only have knee surgery just so many times ......... ;-)
