Will ZR1 wheels fit the new Z06?
There is a 3 mm difference in the front wheel. The rears on the C6ZR1 and the C7Z06 are the same size.
The fronts are +40 mm in offset for the ZR1 and C6Z06/Z07 and + 43 mm in offset for the C7Z06. Will the +40 mm offset (the C6ZR1 wheels) fit:
The C7Z06 w/o Z07?
The C7Z06 with Z07?
Thank you in advance.

Technically they should fit. The C7 Z06 wheels fit on the C6 Z06 and ZR1 and I believe someone did test fit C6 Z06 wheels onto a C7 Z06 without issues. Not sure how helpful that is to you.

The C6 Z06 rims from what I have researched will fit onto the rear of a C7 Z06 and make for a very cost effective when matched to a sticky drag radial all ready then to go drag racing and turn some great times down the 1,320 in a C7 Z.

The rears will fit because they are exactly the same size and offset. I wonder why GM added 3 mm of positive offset to the C7Z06 front wheels. Was it for the Z07 package? Or is it also necessary for the non Z07? 3 mm is about a tenth of an inch so not much difference, but again GM likely didn't change casting tooling for no reason at all.

Smaller offset number pushes the wheel out farther. Larger offset number pulls them in. So a 40 mm offset would push the wheel 3 mm farther out than a 43 mm offset.
Would actually look better on the Z, and wouldn't have any fitment issues.

OE GM ZR1 wheels will fit!!!
As mentioned, the rears are the same offset and fit with plenty of clearance.
The fronts have slightly different offsets, but 3mm is less than 1/8 inch, so you won't have any problems.
I took some pictures of my C7 Z06 with ZR1 wheels on it, and you can see some measurements that show the clearance you'll have.
Here's a link to a thread with pics and rough measurements:

BTW - I would imagine that if the ZR1 wheels fit on my Z07 that they will fit on a regular C7 Z06 with cast iron rotors, but I dunno for sure!
