Introducing our 100% genuine airbag cover. DYI/glue it yourself or I can do the exchange service for an addtional cost. Remember that shipping airbag is expensive, 4x. So don't disclose to the mailman that you are shipping an airbag! Hahaha
DYI cover will be 125 shipped, airbag exchange program will be 200 plus 500 deposit for airbag core. I'll refund the 500 once you shipped back your old stock airbag.
Price is $1775 shipped for carbon paddles and bezel, from Australia. Core charge is 150. You can either keep or ship back your old steering wheel.
Extended paddles closed up.
Next up! Matte clear finish, grey stitching, red stripe, z06 logo.
Got matte carbon? Even more amazing than I thought. Our first matte finish
Got 3 cores now. Can do the steering wheel in any matching color/material and stitching and matte or glossy carbon. Can even do custom design if a customer is wanting something different.
Also level of firm or softness plus thickness of the wheel can be adjusted too.
Probably the best mod investment ever, 24 hrs later and it is even more amazing. This pic shows every grip position and it feels so natural. This should have been an added option direct from GM
Sample of red carbon for those that are maybe interested

Can I ask what the base material is? I have asked a few times yet don't seem to find a response. Is it bondo or some type of body fill or more of a premium poly base as with the oem where you can feel that there is a bit of a give? I am curious as I have had my hands on several diff wheels for the Z and those that use body fill have a feel as if you are holding a cement wheel with leather covering.

Negotiated an extra 100 off per wheel with the maker if I can send him 3 orders at a time. Got 3 cores ready to ship to the maker in Australia by end of next week at the latest

Bought a new airbag to mock up a DYI leather cover with matching stitching kit. This will be a cheaper and easier solution for customers. Rather than shipping an "explosive device" airbag around.

I am VERY interested, am I supposed to send in mine prior? Mine is my everyday driver and don't want to be down my Z for a long time? And what is the total cost and time frame. Love the black with red stitching (matches my interior) steering wheel

No only send when you installed my steering wheel. I have 5 cores at the makers with 3 going to prior orders. Two left to fill. Is your an Auto of manual? About 4 weeks to make.
