I have an unusual sound coming from directly under my M7 gearbox. It only happens when I am slowing down from 5-10 mph and as soon as I push in the clutch very quickly, I hear a clack-clack-clack-clack type sound for a second and then a faint rattling noise continues at the shifter. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it is very annoying. I love the car very much but it is frustrating to hear this. I'm hoping someone here can help me identify this problem and get this resolved. Thanks!

My guess is the dealer will both identify the problem and get it solved before anyone on this site can.
