Default PVD chrome suggestions

Anyone send out a set of powder coated wheels to get stripped and PVD chromed? If so, any suggestions who can be trusted to do a good job?

Thanks in advance!

No, not powder coated first. But, I have used California Chrome Wheels (Santa Margarita, CA) in the past on a set of forged wheels (no paint or chrome) for black chrome. I'd call them and ask about powder coat--my guess is it won't be an issue (you can talk with sales/tech or John, the owner). I also know of Detroit Wheel and Tire, Joe Volpe (Detroit, MI).

The wheels I have for sale were done by US Wheel Exchange with their "permachrome" finish. I shipped the wheels to them and they stripped them, and had them sent off locally to have the PVD chrome applied.

I'm sure you've seen this picture, but here is what they looked like when I got them back.

Yes, I love these wheels, and I'm the one who tried to buy these wheels off you for over 3 weeks, but you was traveling and could not find a way to get them packaged up so that I could schedule freight.

Can you please give me an approximate how much to strip and permachrome them? Can you please PM me if we are not allowed to discuss pricing here? I really appreciate it.

Guess I forgot to add that cost into my for sale thread. Anyways, I paid 895 for the PVD chrome. Now have to edit those threads.

So that was the cost for the "stripping" and PVD, or just for the PVD?
Thanks you sir. The info is much appreciated.

895 was the cost for everything minus shipping.
