Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all their help and info. It made it easy to get the right car for me.
After 5 weeks and 1,500 miles here are my impressions:
2017 CCB, m7 convertible.
The Good:
(1) Car is fast and fun to drive.
(2) Rides great and sounds even better.
(3) Traction Limited, so it needs to be respected.
(4) 650 hp / torque must be experienced to believe.
(5) CCB brakes have almost no dust and great initial bite.
The Bad:
(1) Throttle tip in could be better.
(2) Bottom side bolster digs into my thigh, even worse than my 12 GS.
(3) No secondary radiator on my car. Dealer and Chevy says because converts are not tracked. Not sure I believe they really know.
Love the car and can not stop driving it!
Posted a pic of my sons V8 z car the day we picked up the zo6. His z always get more attention than mine!

I hope someone else chimes in with their own 17 vert. Since mine was an early build maybe it got left out. I did call the chevy help line and they were nice, but did not know too much. I actually ordered before anyone had any real info on the 17's.

as for chevy not installing the radiator because it's a convertible there should be literature out there on it? I know the new ZL1 having similar issue for the automatics not getting something the manual is maybe the ELSD?

No info that I could find, even now. I have not let this detail bother me one bit, as it can always be added later, if I find it necessary. My son and I are both amazed at how this car is so mellow, idles reasonably smoothly, is economical on fuel, plus it becomes such a horse when the pedal is down. It is so cool that you can buy a car like the new C7Z's.
Attached a pic of the 12 GS, loved this car too!
