~Zora Arkus Duntov, if you know Corvettes then you know he was the patron Saint of Corvette enthusiasts worldwide. I was fortunate to have spent time with him every year at the Malcolm Konner Corvette Show in Paramus, NJ from 1978-1991. Mr Duntov passed away at the age of 86 in April 1996, but as Corvette's first Chief Engineer he breathed Life into the Corvette like no other especially as 1955 could have been the end of America's Sports Car as we know it. If you are a Corvette enthusiast then I suggest reading up on ZAD. The Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY has many Duntov items on display.





~Birthplace of Legends by Peter J. Licastro is a book I recommend. This is the story of Corvette production at the St Louis Assembly Plant 1953-1981. Great stories and pics!




~I had a dozen or so Corvette deliveries the last two weeks but just as important are the 2017 Corvette orders I wrote in that time period. In no particular order, the following is a list of all the Towns/States that my Factory Order customers reside in. Oak Ridge, NJ, Scottsdale, AZ, Middletown, NY, Missoula, MT, Newark, OH, Half Moon Bay, CA, Germantown, MD, Mechanicsville, VA, Kathleen, GA, Alexandria, VA, Fleetwood, PA, Houston, TX, Santa Barbara, CA,
Gold River, CA, Castro Valley, CA, Brookfield, WI, Crockett, CA, Pikeville, KY, Heath, OH and Zionsville, IN. *15 years ago the Area Zone Mgrs of Chevrolet would come in to the dealership and draw a 7 mile radius around the dealership and say this was your area of concern...needless to say the internet has blown that up a bit.

~Adam B. From Southport, North Carolina contacted me in the morning about this 2017 Sterling Blue Grand Sport and hopped on a plane right away. Arrived right at 5:15pm as planned and drove the 410 mile ride home. Just that quick and easy!







~Jay P. From Clarksburg, MD took delivery today of this beautiful 2017 Grand Sport Cpe which was on the showroom floor! Silver with Red interior and some great Red accents. Jay had been coming in to look at Corvettes with me since 2009 and he finally pulled the trigger on a beauty.






~Larry J. from Livingston, TX factory ordered a 2017 Collectors Edition to be picked up at the Corvette Museum on Jan 13th. Keep an eye on the Museum web cam for his delivery.



~John R. from Wheeling, WV called me on my day off and asked if I could appraise his two Corvettes sight unseen so that he could make the 5 hour ride and trade in for my 2016 Shark Gray with Spice Red Stingray cpe., 1 of only 13 produced. Made the deal within 30 minutes and he and his high school buddy made the trip and he was in and out within an hour.







~Ed and Rebecca K. Of Falls Church,VA Traded in their 2014 Night Race Blue Cpe for this 7,000 Mile 2016 Long Beach Red Cpe. with Kalahari interior.
