OK I just checked the installer super simple and easy to use but dont use the firmware and eprom its not the right pdts file imbedded. use the firmware only then use the DSC software and set vehicle type to C7 then open the pdts file from our site that has launch mag. write all under tools it will take 20 sec to load. thats it
one other note in between using the two utilities unplug DSC to reboot it

To clarify, so I don't fubar something.....can we use the PTM/Velocity/Launch PDTS file you have on the site and update our tune, or do we need to wait on a firmware update? It states on the file it requires LNC firmware, but wasn't sure what exactly that meant. Sounds as though another file is getting uploaded when you get time?

Glad you asked No the launch pdts can only be used with the firmware it will be up in a few minutes with the installer and a few notes on install

Unfortunately, the wrong .pdts file is attached to the Firmware/epromm update, so after updating your firmware, unplug the DSC controller to reset the board. Then plug it back in, download the latest .pdts file (can be found under Calibration Files on the website), and write it to the board like you normally would using the Tuning Software.

When I click on the Downloads button, it takes me to a new page that DOES show firmware, but the link says 'Under Construction' and doesn't work.

The Firmware page is live now.
If there is ever anything that's not working properly on the site or you can't find something, don't hesitate to email me jedwards@dscsport.com. You can find my email in the contact section on the website as well.

Quick question instead of emailing direct. When it says disconnect the DSC controller before loading the new file, are we talking just disconnect the USB from the PC after the firmware update or actually pop the entire harness off the box?

Yes unplugging power down the processor

Bringing this back. I asked Mike about the Mag Shocks amperage. The OEM mag shocks go from 0 to 1000mA. The Sport and Track shock cal tables use values above 1000mA simply to fill the other boxes linearly. So if you put 1mA on the far left and 2000mA on the far right, you'd fill the table with 1000mA posting at 50% in the table. Thus you'd have maximally stiff dampers starting at 50% on the table and going all the way to the 100% position on the table. Mike said there is a design fail-safe to prevent too much current from damaging the mag shocks but I didn't get details on this. He simply said the mag shocks don't care if the values surpass their usable range.

Anyone take this controller to the strip yet? Any 60 foot improvement with other conditions being the same? I'd imagine there has to be.
Thanks!

It gives me the soft range of touring with all the sensativety of sport . My car has so much bloody grip with the Tractive I just turn traction off who needs it by the third corner its insane
You have to try dampers it's a whole next level up in grip
