I would like to know your comment after you install the Halltech.

What's the hold up?

He has been bitching about the intake for months now in nearly every related thread. Tried to return it, tried to sell it....Don't see him installing it any time soon. I'm sure if he really wanted to sell it there is a price with a taker.

One of the hoses (the one closest to the air box) is hot water and the other is cool water?

Must be a good product with obvious gains over stock and good flow and good fit. Callaway must think so as well by the use of the product in their SC757 package.

You girls (fleming, higgs) just crack me up.

Yes my car is for sale.........funny how you girls get all wet over the Z and yet it hasn't sold yet. I thought y'all said it was the best thing since sliced bread.

The Halltech Stage 1 kit is free with the car if a buyer wants to deal with it. Jim knows the kits have issues that's why he refuses to offer a 100% money back guarantee. It's no secret folks. That's why we see a new thread on it just about every week.

It's still a free nation and how I spend my money is none of your concerns.

nobody cares what you do with your car or your intake or your money.

i don't know about sliced bread since my mom makes my sandwiches for me but I think you can quote me twice as saying the C7Z is a "great car" and probably 50 times saying "it's just a car" (which makes people mad).

if you can't take a little ribbing i suggest you log off and go pick flowers in your back yard. use some common sense man, when you have your car for sale because you don't like it but continually just want to post negative comments about it in the same forum, do you really think you are going to sell it? not to mention you are probably buried in it and asking too much.

when someone comes to look at it because they want to buy it are you going to say, "look I really hate this car, its a bad value. you should get xyz car instead. btw, do you want this lump of crap in a box intake to go with it for an extra 300 dollars?"

two minutes to go in the 4th quarter and SpeedForHire still hasn't seen the ball.

When someone asks me what I think (about anything) I'm going tell them. They may not like what I have to say, because I'm not going to sugar coat it. The truth has no agenda!

Refer to post #27 and please let's not make this about me. There was nothing derogatory in my post #20. I trust the OP's honest interpretation's of the product.

I have this intake and in my opinion it is the best intake for the C7 ZO6 with the most hp and tq gains. I kind of cut a hose i bought seperately a little longer to make it fit better and worked perfectly . I have had no problems or any check engine lights at all. I only think that breather hose issue is a little pain . But just get a longer hose and route it better .

This guy isn't even Halltech's customer. Sounds like he bought a resale part.

So he bashes Halltech over the install instructions or lack thereof, then Halltech states that instructions were indeed given electronically yet you just trust his interpretation of the product? Logic fail.

It sounds like whatever challenging whatever fitment issue that may exist could be overcome by simply reading the directions. Perhaps he didn't want to call for help bc he isn't a Halltech customer and didn't actually buy anything from them,

One can easily look at the item and offer an opinion. I trust the OP was honest in his interpretation. He has nothing to gain from posting about it.

............and he's not the only one to offer the same assessment.

I say "less of a restriction" because anything besides an open throttle body (no intake) is a restriction to flow, especially on a FI motor. there are intakes that can flow enough for some NA engines, especially smaller ones, depending on RPMs.
