ZO6 just lowered 3/4" - Pics
For those looking into lowering, this is on the stock bolts lowered 3/4"
The only things so far, Lowering , window tint and a paint correction.
It looks so much better with these small mods and I'm very happy with the look.
The top pictures are the day I picked it up V the lowering, tint and paint correction.
The last picture is the one the shop took to get me to pick it up faster

Safety Car
Did you have the dealership lower it? I'm going to have them lower mine when it first comes in and they're doing all the other prep work on it.
Also, what kind of paint correction did you have done on it? Looks great!

I took to my local speed shop do it , They lowered it and arranged their detail guy to do the paint. It's made a world of difference too

^^^ What did he do to the paint? Did you have it wet sanded to remove orange peel?

Nice! Did your camera reverse the images, or did you get a Euro-version of the Z with steering and fuel on the right? (and backwards emblems)
Looks great!

Looks amazing!! I am anti lowering anything because these NJ roads, but i think i am going to cave on the new car. And damn do i love the red, i had my c6z for 6 years in red and my mitsu evo for 4 years prior to that, so i gave myself a break on it. I hope i dont regret it

GM really made lowering this car difficult, if it is driven on the street.
It sits very low as it is, lowering it makes the front splitter scrape on just about anything.
I wish they would have offered bigger wheels and then we could have lowered the car to a reasonable height.
Or came up with a different solution with the front splitter.

Thanks guys, I'm really happy with the results. Florida roads are pretty good, I come from Imports which were all low ( Not like the kids do today) so I'm used to pulling in and out of driveways on an angle. In fact I still do this in my GMC Sierra ..lol
The Paint correction was a high speed polish, no wed sanding this time. The paint guy said the paint isn't as thick as the C6 (He wet sanded my C6 and polished it)
The paint looks a lot clearer and shines better. Differently made a difference .
