Castrol SRF and Z07 with CCB
I have used Castrol SRF with great success on my 2014 Z51 stingray and no issues. Several have reported on this forum that the Castrol fluid may somehow "leak" out of the bleeders on the brakes on the Z07 (I now have a 2016 Z07) and that 'regular' DOT4 brake fluid is a better choice as a result (speaking of TRACK use, Mid Ohio, NCM, etc)
Any track rats out there with the Z07 with CCB that have used SRF. Any issues? Can anyone give me any advice. I am inclined to stick with the SRF as I think its the better fluid, but not if it leaks through the bleeders and DOT 4 doesn't. Whole thing sounds strange.... thanks for help

I use, and will continue to use, SRF. I see a slight amount of seepage, mostly indicated by dark brake dust accumulation around the bleeder screws. I have not had any issues like some have reported with it running down the caliper or even worse and spraying down the side of the car. Just be careful not to overtighten the bleeders which could permanently deform the caliper and I think you'll be fine.

I used Wilwood 600 EXP when I first got the car and the bleeders leaked a little. Not a big deal as long as you clean up the mess before it ruins the paint. I think it will do it with any brake fluid. SRF and 600 EXP are both DOT 4 fluids. I like Wilwood EXP fluid because it has a higher dry boiling point than SRF.

Motul 600 for 2 years now cause my very picky racer friend uses it. No issues with CCB's with 0 fade. Agree with above post do not overtighten the bleeders.

I thought you like Ford Dot 4 brake fluid.

When I did my ZL1 brake upgrade on my Camaro SS I sprayed brake cleaner into the bleeders after bleeding to make sure their good and clean. I have a track day coming up next at NCM and thinking about grabbing a can of brake cleaner to spray them down down just in case.
