Anyone have a part number for the Green Filter?
I even searched first, you'd think it'd be an easy hit, but I was unable to find it.
Anyone know the Green filter part number for our cars?
According to their website the Stingray is 7225, but they don't list anything for the Z. Are they in fact the same piece?
Thanks!
Dave

Here is the one I ordered the other day. Still waiting on it to arrive...

From what I can find, the 7225 is the correct one...

I have no test before and after but I did run a 10.64@130.33 mph with this filter along with the Borla mid pipe and ported tb.
And I might add with my engine temps very high and lots of knock retard.

Just for a drop in filter?
Can anyone confirm this? 85 bucks for 12rwhp might be the best bang for buck ever lol
Gonna order one even without the power gain lol. I heard i'll hear more SC whine with an aftermarket filter lol. That's why i want one.

I'll carry mine in the trunk until I get to the track, then swap between runs and see what it does for MPH. Then I'll know if it's voodoo or not.
Although I have not tested it yet, I do know that restrictions on the INLET side of the blower are very important, at least for centrifugal blowers, and I assume positive displacement as well.
I like to think of the blower as an air multiplier, so when there's an inlet restriction that deficiency is multiplied. Might not be technically correct, but has served me well in building more power in the past. I cut a half second off my C4's ET with a different intake pipe!
I've long been of the opinion that CAIs do very little except give you a way to run a better filter. ie: the restriction is the filter, originally intended for the LT1, and not the intake piping itself. But again, just my theory.

Just my (2) cents...I am getting the 720 hp Lingenfelter Mod installed, their 720 kit includes the Green Filter no CAI. If it's good enough for Lingenfelter to use it must have enough gains to justify not using a CAI.

How does the Green Filter get cleaned, or is it a throw-away? Edit: found answer---re-charging "kit" similar to K&N.

I had the green filter now running the Blue Atack filter. Just my opinion I like the Blue better. The media is dry so no oil or chemicals to clean or treat the filter which was a plus for me..just wash and reuse. and made in America..

Hmm, 24+12=36 rwhp left on the table.

Slowly working on a better option here... Prototype flow testing compared to stock and existing drop ins is very promising. And using dry element to avoid coating the MAF sensor.
