Default Best offer to try and buy for leftover 2016

I have a dealer that has had a what/red z06 since May of last year. They had advertised 20k off for several months off the 99,500 msrp what do you think the car could be bought for 75??? Just thinking if it could be bought for 75 or less the loss would be minimal to drive for 6 months or so to play in it! Thanks for any thoughts

20% off is a pretty good deal... maybe you can negotiate a little more. You're still getting the full 3 years/36 months warranty... Good Luck.

I'm guessing this is a 2LZ with extras...If you can get it for 75 that is a hell of a deal.

just curious......if you were able to get it for $75K or so, how many miles do you think you will put on the car in the six months you mentioned, and then what do you think a dealer will give you for it on a trade?

I figure 2-3k miles and I would stick it on eBay and try to sell for 70-73. I assume a dealer would be in the mid to low 60's!

Thanks for the reply. In my mind (FWIW), I would guess you have a decent chance at getting it at, or pretty close, to the price you mentioned. If they have been sitting on the car since last May, and were offering it for $79+K, I would think they would be open to come down a little more.

Caveat----Come another 6 weeks they may decide the weather is turning in their favor, and with the plant shutting down, which will lead to a shrinking available inventory, they may try to hold on to it through April or May.

Best of luck---in any event, you will love the car once you get----who knows, you may decide to keep it for more than the 6 months.
