Looks like some pimple-faced junior high school kid frankenstitched a C7 front end to a C6 rear using Photoshop.

Why the fascination with a mid engine Corvette? The product GM is manufacturing at the present time is outstanding.

You're right. I mean, it seems like just yesterday that Offenhauser roadsters were winning Indianapolis. And I'm sure you remember Don Panoz's Batmobile front engined prototype race car that was a huge success, except for the fact that it never won.

I agree and it definitely won't get me out of my C6 Z06(or my 56 or 64).

I don't like a car that looks like a Pug dog.

I was thinking the same thing! It's like they turned a golden retriever into a French bulldog. I can hear it snuffling down the street.

It looks like a 458, and I think it's a good thing.

I agree with a post above regarding the size of the grill. No cooling needed up front any more, so that profile will be much sharper, less gaping. Mid-engine proportions are usually much more exotic, but storage space will suffer greatly (form over function).

We creaky bones like enough space to load up for a two week road trip without having to wash clothes every other night.

I can wash clothes at home. On a trip I want to have fun, not sit in the motel waiting for my clothes to dry.

Amazing how these threads on the Mid Engine Vette take on almost the same comments as those on the C6 Forum about the drawings of the C7 before it was unveiled ....

Washing clothes, pffft, just turn your underwear inside out and you're good to go.

When I go to Hawaii for a few weeks, I ship dirty clothes home via USPS (it's very cheap) and just buy new ones on the Islands.

I'm assuming that the radiator would be in the nose so shouldn't they let some air in to cool it?

i had midengine Lotus that was REALLY small, but it had a fair amount of storage space split between two trunks, but is storage space all that important? Have there been a lot of complaints about storage space in the Ford GT?
