Mighty massive air duct behind the doors. What is that opening in the top of the doors just below the windows?

I could care less about a mid engine Corvette. I suspect it will be expensive. I like my C7 as is. Rides great, looks great, performs great. I see no reason to try and complicate the issue with a mid engine vehicle. JMPO.

From a purely aesthetic look, I MUCH prefer the conventional look.

I agree. Still loving my 2016 Z51 and wouldn't mind having a GS or Z06 but seeing that I'm not racing at LeMans anytime soon I don't have the need for a ME except for maybe the cool factor but I'm not interested in handing over another ton of cash.

I'm sure they have crap under the cammo to make it look square ish and goofy. I'm guessing a curvy sexy body lies beneath. I find if funny that GM thinks they have to be so secretive about this cars design and existence when Ford and Honda put their cars on show stands two years before they were introduced.

I suspect the same thing. They have some falsies under there to hide the true shape

The wheel base looks huge! And it ain't no Caddie by the tail lamp shapes that's for sure. Well we will all be second class citizens at the car shows and events once these appear in the flesh.

The CERV 1 will look great on the stand next to the C8 when it is introduced: http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-cult...i-1-3-million/

Just curious, since GM has not announced the existence of a mid-engine car or a ZR1, how do we know any of this information is factual about these pics?

Saw on Facebook that the plant is shutting down in June for retooling of the '18 model year. They said no tours during the shut down and no reopen date is available. Perhaps gearing up for the mid engine car ?

To my eyes, it looks a lot like a Ferrari 458 or 488 in profile. That's not bad, IMHO. I think the Ferrari 458 is the best looking car since the 250 GTO.

Watching the Rolex 24 this weekend, I couldn't help thinking how much better the Ferrari Risi 488 GTLM looked compared to the Ford GT GTLM's which just look like ugly little red, white and blue cockroaches to me - way too much like the big green cockroach Lambo Huracan's !
