C8 Corvette analysis - Mid-engine
Hey guys, I made a video analyzing the latest snow testing photos. You can get to it with the link below. I think they are two different cars, but let me know what you guys think.

That guy did an amazing job. Very informative and entertaining. I remember the early days of the C7 mules. We were all speculating the design. The next year will be interesting.

I hope your wrong that the Corvette brand will move UP into the elitist category to compete only with the high end sports cars. And the Fatmaro will replace the Corvette as Chevy's affordable sports car.
A few threads on here have mentioned the possibility of having 2 different Corvette models. One that will compete with the Lambo's, Porsches, etc., and cost upwards of $150K...and one which will still stay within reach for those who love the current front engine and design.
Time will tell....but Chevy has lost a life long Corvette owner and enthusiast if they choose to move the brand to the "elitist" category. And Chevy will never get me to buy a Fatmaro.... Just not for me.

It is a front engine, with a torque tube and transaxle layout(virtually identical to the Corvette) and ran 7:10.92 on the Ring. How does that compare with the front engine Z06 or the ME Ford GT or the ME NSX?
Seems that Mercedes has the front engine thing figured out.

The high-end mid-engined GM supercar should be designed and branded as a Cadillac... Chevrolet is not a premium brand, and should not be on GM's most expensive car. If GM wants to build an R8, it should be sold by the company that competes with Audi, not the one that competes with Volkswagen.
Leave the Corvette where it is. It's doing very well in its market.
