That rear wing is ridiculous, makes it look like the Batmobile, or worse.

Here's the vid. Sounds like a flat plane to me. The whole GM engineer saying it's not is bull crap.

You can tell from the Nürburgring videos it is a flat plane crank engine.

Agree... I'll wager it was supposed to happen for MY25, but with the Z06 delayed and the eRay launch compressed and now trickling out it's the nature of the beast.

Since the C4, GM doesn't have a history of doing any major mid-cycle refreshes to the interior. I don't think they'll do it this gen either.

C6 had kind of a mini refresh in that they ditched the doughboy steering wheel after 2005 intro year and then got rid of the cheap grey plastic and went to faux carbon w/ leather side trim in 2008.
I think with more emphasis put on interior infotainment / tech in this day and age there's a strong argument for the update.
Plus they just did it in the Caddy which shows they're capable / not afraid to do it.
I've read that mfgs expect car lifecycles to be shorter and not run as long. People want change, faster.

But I agree with people wanting new features faster. The M2 has been out a year and people on BMW forums are asking when the refresh is coming .

This generation has been a whole new ball game in more ways than one.
Infotainment/electronics are a new horizon compared to past generations as well, especially considering the main driver behind these potential updates... revenue potential via subscription services. If there's a motivation to make changes and standardize the experience across the line due to pushing this business model, they'll pay the money for a redesign.
Also, keeping the UI electronics the same for a near 10 year production run might not be the same as it was in the past either, keeping things more fresh there in this market and the demographics they are trying to reach could be another motivating factor for them. Typical Corvette buyers may not care, but those new, younger buyers... these things matter to them.

MY26 will probably need an updated interior because of the goofball "passive anti-drunk driving technology" requirement of the (so-called) Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

Got me thinking. Maybe I should invest in an old aircraft canopy breaker tool and escape knife in case the the new "passive anti-drunk driving technology" sensors detect a condition, alcohol related or not and as analyzed by AI, that results in the vehicle autonomously locking me in and driving the car to a law enforcement impound lot for processing. I bet the system would lock the seat belt and doors. Just kidding...I guess.
