Seat swap.

I think they are plug and play. I always had GT2 seats in my cars until this current one and honestly there is very little difference between them IMO

Thanks. Comp seat looks to have space for anti submarine belts in center. 6 points. Bott and side bolsters deeper as well.

Correct. I've ridden in a C8Z with the competition seats. They were comfortable enough but the seat bottoms seemed high up even with the seat itself lowered. I'm 6' and it felt tighter than I remember in a GT1/2 seat C8 I rode in a while ago.

Ok, just got a Z6/7 last night. I have the Comp sport seats and I'm not a thin guy. In the 250 miles on the break in period the mid thigh area is tight. Any idea if I can swap out for GT2 seats? Are they more comfortable for larger people?

i would love to find a nice lightweight carbon fiber seat from sparko or someone with the side airbags and connectors. I would pay good money for that

The area that looks like it would support anti-submarine belts on the comp seat does not have a pass-through opening. You would have to have the seat modified and then figure out how to anchor the sub belts. I use the TeamTech Jet Pilot harness that has straps that go around the thigh, plus anti-sub belts that you sit on and that pass between the upper seat back and the bottom cushion. They are then anchored to eye bolts in the seat belt bar that accepts the harness lap belts.

There is also a plate that can be installed under the passenger seat front mount bolts to hold the fire extinguisher. For the street, you can remove the fire extinguisher bottle and the mat lays over the plate - can't even tell it's there.

Comp seats. The harness is attached to a Paragon harness bar. There is also a plate that bolts under the aft seat mounting bolts that has eyes to attach the lap belts and the sub belts.

I had the dealer swap the comp seats from my stingray with the GT2 seats in my Z06. Ended up with an airbag fault code in the Z06. Dealer thinks it needs to get a software patch from GM to remove the code permanently as code comes back after they erased it. Does anyone know what the solution is?
