Pics of the Detroit ZR1 car. CDN pricing..!
See here,

btw I've heard that the Canadian pricing of the Zr1 will be around $110,00 CDN. to $125.000 CDN approx. with 1 option availability in Canada.
OPTION 1 is $10,000 for the ceramic brake package, ++ (not sure what else is in this package yet) (that's in the $125k price; base is $110k).
Another interesting note is the clearcoat costs. It's about $200 a gallon. Why so high? Due to the special mixture compond for the fibre-carbon parts of the new ZR1.
On another note, I'm hearing that the BLACK and Cyber-Gray (proper colour name) are the striking colours on this vehicle. Also ALL Zr1 colours are available to all 2008 c6 coupes, verts, z06's. There is no zr1 only colours.
More info.. About 3000 zr1 car production the first year. Over 7 times the number of RFE's (Ron Fellows Editon, white 2007 z06). Canada will see about 100.

I know I know.. .opinions are like ********..... so heres mine
Personally, for 125k I dont see the value. Thats a LOT of $$ for the extra HP and limited extra styling. If people are going to buy it for the collector or limited model status, I totally get it. But you could drop 15-20k on an everyday ZO6 and it would blow 600HP (at the crank) out of the water. I think Dave and Arun can easily get that to 800 rwhp for that money.. So what am I missing? Is it the status of it being limited? cuz like I said I can deal with that if thats the true reasoning.
What do I know, just a simple C5 guy here.. Maybe I'm just jealous

The other pricing I'm hearing is even higher.
From $140 to $150k CDN as well. That would really put it out there.
Also anyone who put down a deposit at dealers are committed to the car at whatever the price is. I checked. The deposit is non-refundable. I found that not realistic.
Buy a car and you don't even know the price ?
Bill.

But if I were a rich man, I'd have a regular C6 AND a ZR1 for sure. There is always something very cool about owning a factory built hot rod!

Noticed the same thing! I think it is!!!!
Why can't the corvette steering wheels have all the buttons, the 06 - 08 are the same steering wheels as saturns and they have all the "buttons" - right and left side of steering wheel radio station, etc?
at least the NAV is touch screen

2009 ZR1 SN 1166
As everyone knows the introduction of the Z06 saw those cars selling for full list and above for a year or so. Then the General ramped it up and prices fell hard, at least in the USA. Time will tell about the the ZR1. I expect with a recession in the US, and Canada bound to catch a cold from the economic chill, there will be ample oppurtunity at less than list for those who must have one in subsequent production years. The other question is what happens to the Z06 ?. Does production continue ? . The easy credit days in the US are history so a lot of people will not qualify for easy low interest car loans. I have no real doubt about the entire limited production selling out the first year, after that , not so sure. For those who are the first to have one, best wishes and good luck with the fastest meanest production machine on the street.

The pictures you are seeing of the cyber-gray zr1 I posted is NOT a production ZR1.
It's a mock-up of a z06 to zr1 with panels and trim etc. I also understand it's not the correct engine either.
I hope that GM does deliver a proper pre-production ZR1 to the Detroit show. Otherwise, what's the point of going to see a mockup?
