There ought to be a law against squirelling away all these great cars and not driving them!

I'm with you Peter but then again, there are many facets to this car hobby of ours and while guys like you and me buy 'em to drive 'em, there are others who collect them like pieces of art. In the end, its no different than buying a Picaso or a Monet and hanging in on the wall.

One side of me loves to see such a pristine collection held in such reverance but the driver in me says WHY

This collection provides us with the standard of excellence that we can judge our vets from, a reference point to judge all the modification that we have done to our own cars and answer the question.. Did we improve the car?

For me the stock vet cant be improved upon for posterity. However for the here and now a 600hp vet certainly cant be wrong.

Thanks Frank. There are some cars in those collections.

Its great that someone collects samples of these cars so the rest of us can drive mod and enjoy corvettes as we see fit.

I like to look at these examples however I am more interested in cars with experience and a story.

Gotta agree with that, too many cars for one person IMHO and you have to ask is the collection owned by a real "car" guy or a collector who's in it for the money ?

You can say what you want but I have a hard time keeping on top of things to fix and do to my one and only Vette can't imagine even having two so these collections are insane

With these two collections you could have a couple hundred happy cars guys
