Come on Stan, lighten up, it was all in fun, and was the funniest thing I ever saw.

I remember it was meant to make fun of certain members and not LMC staff.

BTW, it wasn't me.

As I said, I wasn't around when that happened. Never even seen the pics. All I know is when we tried to setup a GTG at LMC this past summer, we were told no because of it. It's not a big deal, we just can't do a group thing there anymore.

But if it was all in fun, how come everyone says, "It wasn't me" when the topic comes up?

I still have a couple of the original hats Mike made up somewhere for the non club club. We started out as The Toronto Area Vettboys, then to To. Sharks then the mods gave us the boot to our own section. Anyone know if Flav sold his '80 or both Mikes sold theirs ('69 and 75)? Desi did you sell your C3? I have to see Dwayne on a Harley one of these days.

It was really funny and no harm was intended. I mean come on, what do you expect from a bunch of vette owners

All in all, that was a great event. We need more of them.

Desi...if i were going to do that i would want to do everything i ever wanted to do to the car in one shot..but for that kind of dough i could buy one already done up...so i figure if i sell it i could put the cash towards the 2000 and when i have the funds available, i could judt buy another one...

It was a post of a couple of the members with one of the LMC staff (girl) in the middle. Then the photo got "chopped" and animated.

I don't remember who did that, either ! Mmmmmmm. I seem to not remember.

Anyhow.... it was all in good fun. Nothing so bad. Just a bit over-the-top.

btw I took the foto, but it took off from there...!

-zBill.

I dare NOT post the pic again, just in case it .... happens again. LOL.

I can bring it to the next GTG. (I'll blow it up).

Security??? haha, I was a parking lot attendant

I was one of the poor souls IN the picture, I thought the photochop was funny too, but the guys at LMC wanted to make sure the girl in the pic wasnt embarassed by it, and took a bit of offense by it. They exagerated the whole issue just a bit too much IMO.

I was the one who should have been embarassed... wearing a bright orange vest and talking in a walkie talkie like I was important.. .BWAHAHAHA

That must have been some Photochop to get the whole forum banned! You guys will definitely have to show that to me sometime so I can see all the fun I missed.

I thought the chop was hilarious and genius, the original poster should be comp'd with various aftermarket goodies. I have his paypal info. by chance if anyone would like to make a contribution.

I'll have the car out early this year, and I'd like to finish off a few things before I list it again. If it's not gone by Wasaga time, I'll go for sure this year .....

I'll see some of you around ...

Actually ... the photochops from that event were very humerous ... the newspaper one was a classic!

The animated one ... which drew all the fire ... was very much non-PC ... but I think that the LMC guy's over reacted ... besides ... it was not something Bruce could control, and he did everything he could to make it right with them (LMC).

Oh well ... I'm sure Bruce has a plan for a future Mega-Meet, Right Bruce?
