Is there an open budget ? I like the CCW 505a's but now everyone has them there are some great wheel threads in C5 Gen that show a ton of sweet looking wheels

I'm partial to I-Forged but I do like the CCW SP500's. Here's my set-up,

Polished I-Forged Seneka's 19" front/ 20" rear

Like Gettreal ( sorry, don't know your actual name) stated, I think it all comes down to budget though. What are you willing to spend on wheels and rubber? The budget will help us determine what's best for you!!

I will be working with a tight budget if I proceed.
I have interested in a C5 that has the original tires with low mileage but it has the original aluminum 5 spoke rims - not the polished ones.
I'm not a big fan of these and just wondering what you guys suggest would be a good economical replacement.

What's your budget?

Personally, I think the OEM Alcoa/Speedline Z06 wheels look the best on a C5. They're light, they look sharp and you can probably find a used set for around $500.

If you want to step it up a notch, get yourself the Z16 polished Z06 wheels. They look awesome!

Well, whenever you go I-forged or CCW, HRE etc. they cost a bit more than the average wheel. Search the parts for sale forum as there usually is a pretty large selection of reproduction wheels or take off wheels with rubber for a good price. I will keep an eye out for you as well and if I see anything I will shoot you a pm. If you'd like send me a pm with your max budget and I'll try my best to locate something that appeals to you!

How much would a set of polished or chromed Z06 rims cost?
I like them shiney!
What is better polished or chrome?
Do they come in 17 and 18 inch to fit original C5 (non Z06) tires?

Keep a close on on the US C5 parts for sale section, there is a ton on daily activity.

As for polished VS chrome, I personally would say chrome, because they require much less to keep them clean. Polished do look nice, but tend to spend more precious hours cleaning and polishing to acheive the same look.

I love the look of the iForged or CCW rims but did not want to spend $3000 for rims my car.
Went with Factory Reproduction Z06 rims in the photos here, $788 out of Texas with $140 shipping and used
my stock rubber, still a nice look without the high cost.

I did not like the center cap stickers that they gave me with the rims so might go with the Cyberdine ones.

NOT2MELO,

Looks very nice!
Thanks for the link.
How were they shipped?
How much extra did you have to pay for duty and brokerage?

Interesting!
I bought a small non-automotive part for $90.00 US and had to pay about $40.00 in duty and brokerage COD with UPS!

The OEM Z06 wheels never came in a narrow version (to accommodate the original C5 tires) and never came chromed from the factory. They were either painted gray or polished. I paid $200/wheel for my polished Speedline Z06 wheels and although they're not as easy to maintain as chrome, they're clear coated which makes them a little easier to clean.

The OEM C6 wheels look awesome but you'll have to purchase a new set of tires since the C6 uses 18" front, 19" back.

If you want to keep your stock tires and go chrome, I'd look into a set of Z06 replica's in a stock C5 fitment. The C6 Z06 replica's look like a great option as well.

NOT2MELO, I wonder if you managed to slip through the cracks since UPS is pretty diligent about collecting their fees on the spot. It's Fedex which loves to send you a bill 3 months later. I hate that!

I paid nothing on delivery, but then before have paid for a wire set $29.95 for brokerage
on a $70 parts, then on shipped headers nothing, does not make sense.
The UPS guy told me today some slip thru the cracks as the volume they ship is so vast.
He said, "Your a lucky one, next time they will get you, it happens"
Also maybe the shipper includes the brokerage fee's?
I will let you know if a bill shows up later.

End of story.

Z16 wheels are beyond hard to get em, as they are pretty rare, ofcourse they are my favourite wheels and they weigh only 19 lbs, other than u can consider Cray scorpion wheels selling by pinacle motors for 1100 shipped 17 and 18 but they are heavy 25/26 lbs, and 278 by vQ racing again they are 18 and 19" and heavy too.

Z06 speedline is my choice they are affordable and light weight and they look awesome.
