Mid life crisis ? I want a Corvette Tattoo !
Ok guys !
Openin' the gates here
The boys at work(bit younger) were talking about local tattoo shops and their experiences.
Then they looked at me and asked: " Hey ! Corvette lover ! You gotta have a vette tattoo somewhere ?
I've done good things in the past regarding hotrods, motorcycles, snow machines etc... Tattoo was never considered :o
I want to keep in mind that I'm in my mid 40's.
I'm not 25 anymore ! Don't have the muscle body I used too have(big pipes big chest....) Havin' said this, I want a nice classic touch ! Own my C3 and very proud of it !
Corvette logo on the shoulder blade ?
Back of my neck ?
Not too keen on my bycep
Maybe the inside forearm ?
IF YOU GOT A CORVETTE TATTOO NOW's THE TIME TO SHOW IT !!

If you are going to get a tattoo, get it in a place that is concealed and won't show in job interview, if you get a Corvette tattoo on your neck it will limit your future job possibilities
Please hope no one argues this point, I happen to know it is correct and I personally have 2 tattoos so shaddapp just trying to help

I have the early C3 flags tattooed on my right shoulder blade. No pics of it yet, but it isn't huge, about 3.5" X 1.5". The story behind it: I did a full body-off restoration on my '72 over the course of 7.5 years. Literally, my blood, sweat, and tears are in that car! I decided that when I was finished the restoration, I would get a C3 tattoo to celebrate. I have several other tats, so it wasn't a hard decision to get another one.

my son has a tattoo and he hates it wishes he never had it done-his girlfriend has a few he hates them more - she hates them more than that. I had a friend gave $500 bucks one day cause i took him to the tat shop everytime he was in town ( he was a rig pig) anyways great friend and good guy has his whole body done ( so he says) but for driving him around cause he had no car in Calgary he gives me the $500 and says get what you want. After looking for like 2 hours while he was getting this full sleeve worked on he says what do want? My reply was i cant picture having anything on my body for the next 80 years - lets go drinking - well i have blown a lot more than $500 on drinking over the years but never got the tat.

Corrado was going to get one... never heard anything further.
He'd never be satisfied with it, unless he did it himself anyways.
In my younger days... meet sweet looking hottie with tats = no go.
Sorry, noo waay!

The answer won't be found here because as you can see, opinions greatly vary. Tattoos are an extremely personal decision and if you have to ask, you aren't ready.

Not quite right....
I'm curious and I think I will have my answer when I spot the ONE I like....
Just don't want to look too " Fonzy " since I'm over the hill or gettin' there !
As mentioned in the initial thread, a tattoo with a touch of class

it don't matter what yer age or if you are in shape or not.
you want a tat - go get 1 period.
i would suggest the upper arm , just below shoulder , so a t-shirt can be worn during summer & only you decide if you want to show it
again it is personal & only yer choice
Pete.
