Walmart is having yet another sale on the 4.4L jugs of Pennzoil Platinum! As a heads up though, you guys might want to resist the urge to buy a ton of it, as Pennzoil has just released a new synthetic oil in the US that is called Ultra and it's got better engine cleaning ability than Pennzoil Platinum. I plan on using it once it arrives in Canada, unless they price it too high (like Castrol's Edge which is $50 for a jug here!)

Thanks for the heads up Patman. I did an inventory of my refinery in the basement and still have 14 4.4l jugs of the PP. I decided to make a trip and picked up another 12 jugs of the 5W30 at the WC Walmart location.

Of course, the PP will be for the Z06 + I use synthetic oil in the GF's Suzuki SX4 so the 26 jugs of PP will last a while.

I'm guessing I will go through them at a decent clip, each oil change on the 09Z now will take 10L (vs. 8L on the 08Z).

It's only been out in the US for a couple of weeks now and so far only Walmart is carrying it down there. It sounds like an impressive oil from what I've heard so far. I'm anxious to see the oil analysis results that people start posting in a few months time.
