I hooked up a contact at a GM dealer in Buffalo and got a good price on UPF48R oil filters. This is the premium oil filter for 09-up Z06/ZR1 and can be used on 06 up C6 and Z06 vettes.

Dealers up here sell the UPF48R filter for something like $30-35 each. ZR1 owners have to use this filter. Forum vendors in the states sell the filter for US$9.85 each.

I'm getting a slightly better price than that when I buy a case or more of this filter. 2 weeks ago when I went to Buffalo to pick up my tires I picked up a case of the filters and will be going back in a few weeks to get another case + other stuff.

So, basically if anyone needs some UPF48R oil filters I have some. I'm not looking at making money selling them just want to help out other fellow board members here that don't want to order in the states and have to drive or have them shipped to get them. I go down to Buffalo fairly frequently and if I have some interest for these I can order as many cases as needed to fill demand. I'll have to work out a price for them since I do need to factor in my time and fuel to drive down for them + costs to bring them back to Canada but it will still be way less than $35.00 for each of these filters (I'm thinking around CAN$15.00/filter or slightly more).

Are you sure they can be used on a 6 liter C6?

If so I could use 3 this year.

^^^^^I'm not 100% sure since I don't own a C6 vette but check your owner's manual. If you use a PF48 for your C6 you can use this filter. If it uses another type of GM filter for your 6.0L then I believe the UPF48R filter will not work for you.

Right. The C6 6 litre engine calls for a PF46.
