Congratulations Daryl (Pace KR) on Bloomington Gold Certification
We made the trek to Bloomington Gold again this year (see other thread for all the details) but this time around we participated in a part of the show we hadn't spent much time on before.
Daryl Senick (pace kr on the forum) brought hi trailer queen '78 Pace Car down to be judged.
I already posted up the pics of the unloading so here's the rest of the story.
Let the shining begin!
The judges and participants gather to get their instructions.
Judgement day has arrived!
Getting ready and lining up for the verdict.

Congratulations Daryl. Having seen your car, it's a much deserved award.
The '78 Pace car is my favorite C3 model and the only plastic bumper model I like.

awsome win for you Daryl, lots of work and lots of hours, lots of gas but at the end very rewarding. Nice meeting up with the Wasaga gang and other forum members. Looking forward to your show in Aug.

Thank You
Hi Guys,
Thank you Pete for posting these awesome photos. Thanks guys for the congratulations.
This restoration is very special to me. It was the last restoration that my Dad and I worked on together. My dad passed away during the final days of the project. This award as well as the many NCRS awards the pace car has received is a tribute to my dad.
The following is one of my favourite photos.

Very special and tangible legacy of you and your Dad's relationship.
I understand better now where your sourced the commitment, time, sacrifices and resources to take this '78 to the top.
CONGRATULATIONS!
Questions:
- Where/how and in what condition was this '78 originally purchased?
- How much was original to the car "as delivered" and how much was NOS?
- Does a BG cert still apply if any parts are repros?
- Now that it's done, what are your plans for the car? Do you intend to keep it, and if so how much driving will it get?
- If you have kids, might be nice to pass that legacy along!
