Petit Lemans Pics
A few pics from the Petit Lemans race on Saturday.
The Intersport Racing #89 car ( with one of the Ducote brothers driving ) was involved in a serious collision with the #40 Ford GT during practice on Friday.
Great job by the Intersport crew to get the BACKUP car ready for Kyle to go out and qualify it FIRST in LMPC. Unfortunately because the original car did not go through post Tech inspection after the crash the backup car was placed SECOND LAST on the starting grid.
To show his driving skills Kyle was able to drive the car from 52nd position to 2nd in class ( missed 1st by 0.172 seconds ) and 9th overall. Way to go Kyle!!!
As you can see I was just a bit obsesssed with the Audi's and Peugeot's

Great photos.
After really looking at the photos of the Audi's and Peugeot's you can see why they are involved in accidents when passing slower cars. They just can not see what is beside their front ends with their seats low and the fenders too high.
Same reason for the accident at Le Mans this year.
There should be some visibilty regulations.

Great pics Ray as usual! It's stuff like these images that helps us get through the long winter ahead. That and sledding of course! Thought I'd throw that in before Raggdoll.
cheers, Roy
