unfortunately for me I need to drive it. Believe me, with 35,000km on it and never seen winter from the previous owner, I hate to drive it. Only 25 and full coverage is $4000/yr (just paid in full for the entire yr), and bi-weekly payments of $175 with 17.5% interest I really cant afford not even a beater to drive. Hopefully next year if i get called back to the same company (got layed off 2 days before christmas because I do construction), Both me and my wife are going to try and pay it off asap. We really need to purchase a house for our 2 kids also, so the savings are really tight.
your married with 2 kids , pay $4 k for insurance a year and pay 17.5% interest on a car loan????? I have a 22 and 25 year old and if they had a V and made those statements I'd say GIVE YOUR HEAD A SHAKE!!! And they don't have kids. What ever happened to getting things when you can afford them? If you can't even afford a beater winter car to drive what the heck do u need a CTSV cadillac to drive for ???? I bought a 2005 chev cavalier for $2000 bucks for a beater and its really not a beater. Put storage insurance on the vette and by a reasonable car to drive! You'll thank me for this comment in 10 years!
