unfortunately for me I need to drive it. Believe me, with 35,000km on it and never seen winter from the previous owner, I hate to drive it. Only 25 and full coverage is $4000/yr (just paid in full for the entire yr), and bi-weekly payments of $175 with 17.5% interest I really cant afford not even a beater to drive. Hopefully next year if i get called back to the same company (got layed off 2 days before christmas because I do construction), Both me and my wife are going to try and pay it off asap. We really need to purchase a house for our 2 kids also, so the savings are really tight.

these cars last free of repair as well....other than the mandatory stuff.
I sold my last black 05 v with 160,000 on it to a close friend....yet to see even a new clutch with 240,000 on it today.
just avoid wheel hop...you will lose a diff for sure....it's the only thing warranty replaced...and it was due to wheel hop...going into 2nd.
My new black 09 v has close to 100,000 on it without a blip.
Oil Spray it familyman and in the long run the v will help you save coin for that house one day.........and have fun doing it.

Yea, when you're young and the postal code starts with M and you drive a 6.0L V8 muscle car, they gonna get you....everyone else wanted $5000+. Interest over 66 months is like $9500 alone, and I had some student loans and auto loan problems in the past, thats why we wanna pay it off asap. I just couldnt resist on a 06-07 cts-v (06-07 have the better diff), the guy who purchased it, had it brought into canada from Texas with only 5000 miles on it. it only has 55,000 km on it now (35k miles). No accidents at all, and is flawless inside and out. Plus I got a deal and a half. Also, I traded in my 06 cts sport package and got $10,000+tax for that which was a really good deal since I purchased it mid august with 111,000 km...put about 10,000 km on it and bought it for $9000 (plus $1450 ministry tax and a $570 repair), so basically been driving around from august till i traded it for free + $100...

I dont have a vette....yet. Also, my wife works, and i still get $1600/mth from Employment Insurance. Most likely will get called back mid-late March. Last year I went back March 25.
