I'm likely in the minority on this forum, or C7 Gen'l but I'm just finding these throw out promo's and speculation tedious and boring. Saw this vid on another Corvette site earlier this week and yawned. Talked to a few local Chev dealers and not much excitement being generated. I just hope that the Corvette can once again be a sports car that kids and 20/30 something would like to aspire to own. It's been a slow decline in sales since '79 with the avg age of a new car purchaser creeping up to near 60. I have been a vettaholic since I used to turn the tv on Fri nights to watch the tv series Rt. 66. To me the star of he show was the C1 not Buz or Tod.

A Stingray had another starring role in '73/74, The Magician with Bill Bixby. The show was crap but that white '73 that would make its way in to the show with the pair of hands as its licence plate would get me to tune in. (ahh run on sentence, one well).
Other famous Corvettes in tv land:
65/66 Paul Drakes DA, Perry Mason, '65 roadster
'67-'72 Bewitched C2 & C3
'70 Get Smart, Max drove a gold '70
'68 The Second Hundred Years, '68
'75 Rich Man Poor Man, Bill Bixby drove a '58
'82-93 Cheers, Ted Danson.'s '67 BB coupe
'83-86 Hardcastle & McCormick Brian Keith drove a '64 roadster
'83-87 The A Team George Peppard drove an '84
'84-86 Riptide, '58
**Miami Vice, Ferrari replica might have been built on a Corvette chassis
'85-87 Stingray, Nick Mancuso, '65 coupe
'90-'00 Beverly Hills 90210, C4 (yr?)
'93 Rt 66 remake, '61
'95 -'05, JAG '68 & C5
Hopefully more shows will use a C7 to promote it.
