Could it be the steering wheel angle sensor?

Code is for the steering wheel sensor. How did you check it?

Tech machine. Can clear all codes but active handling keeps coming on start up. You can clear it going to comp mode but then when starting up next time.... back on it is.

What else did you check with the TechII? You should have been able to check out all the sensors.

Does it pop-up immediately when you start it? I find it hard to believe a SWPS would look good on a TECHII yet throw a code as soon as you start the engine.

Take your car to a dealership, and get them to check the telescoping steering wheel internal wires ... might need to lengthen them.

Having this same issue with my 09 z06. Start the car and service active handling comes on including little light. I can cycle through the options traction control off then traction control on and light goes away. Competitive driving mode no longer an option. What can this be? Dealer is lost says they can't figure it out. I did have the battery off for a while when doing my supercharger install. The issue started when I started the car for the first time afterwards.

Dont know if this helps but I used to get same message flashing up on my old car as well.

Found out that the battery had a dead cell in it, and creating havoc.

I'll just replace the battery tomorrow to cancel out that possibility. I was planning on buying a red top anyways

Had it happen on my 2010 Grand Sport. Dealer fixed it under warranty. Steering Angle Sensor. Lots of info on the forum. Don't have that car anymore, we'll see how the C7 goes....Oh and I disconnected the battery and tried other things but it persisted and the dealer claimed it was dangerous to continue driving with the warning light on. Apparently it's not as rare as you may think.
