Our club was just informed the organizers of Corvette Corral at the Pumpkinfest Oct. 5 & 6 will have a new 2014 Vette at the show. GM is bringing up the car on Friday night and will be at the show at 8am on Sat and Sun. This is my 4th year and its a huge show for all the older cars and a few years ago they included a special Corvette Corral for us with newer Vettes who could not have entered the main show in the past. A nice drive up there with all the fall colours on display.

This will be out third consecutive year at Pumpkinfest and this year we are being joined by a lot more club members for the run up Saturday morning. We always have a great time in the "Corral" and the Women love the shopping (and chocolate store)

Port Elgin was always fun! Lots of Americans from Michigan came over on the weekends.

It's a nice scenic trip up there on the back roads to see those fall colours and to top it off you get to see the new C7

Was a great day and no rain, attendance was down both at the Corvette Corral and the other show cars. The C7 was there from GM and had large crowds there all day looking and sitting in the car. Did not here any negatives on the car lots of oohs & aahs . The C7 is not a home run it's a grand slam

This was taken about 9:00 am before the crowds came by about 11:00 there were so many people looking and sitting in the car you had to stand in line.

So besides a large car show and weighing pumpkins what else goes on ?

Is it like an agricultural fair ? Carnival ? Active displays - tractor or horse pulls ?

Haven't been able to find much info.
