Niagara Falls Lunch Cruise - Saturday July 5, 2014
Let's meet up at Winston Churchill and QEW between 9 and 10am. There is a Petro Canada and Tim Hortons just south of the QEW on Winston Churchill. Look for the A on this Google Map.
I will be at the Tim Hortons on Dixon at Martin Grove around 8am till 8:30am if anyone wants to meet up with me there to go to the Timmies at Winston Churchill and QEW.
We will be stopping at the Timmies/Esso gas station on Centennial Parkway just off the QEW so that can be another meeting point for anyone wanting to come out from that area. We should be there between 10:30 and 11am if traffic is moving normally. Maybe a little later if there's a jam along the way or we're a little delayed by latecomers.
I'll be cruising Ridge Road and the Tunnel. I've got GoPros on my car for the Tunnel. If possible, I'll be in the right lane and have everyone pass in the left.
If everyone is ok with this, I'd like to park at the Falls and walk along the falls and thru Clifton Hill. Great picture opportunity. There is a Montana's Steak house just up on Victoria Avenue where we'll have lunch. Let me know if you'd like to partake in lunch so I can book us a table. I expect us to be at lunch around 1PM.
Then we'll cruise Niagara on the Park on the way home.
If anyone is going to be late (10-15 min max), call me on my cell at 416 450 7214. I can hold the crowd back for a few minutes to allow you to catch up.
While I try my best to keep us all together some days, it doesn't work and we get separated. I do have printed instructions for everyone, but the main thing to remember is we park at the falls on Niagara Parkway and the Montana's is at "5759 Victoria Ave, Niagara Falls, ON L2G 3L6" (Victoria Ave and Clifton Hill).

PS. Feel free to invite guests if you think they'd like to come along for the drive, even with non corvettes, but please don't post on other forums. I've got it posted here, the Canadian forum and on my HDR Facebook page.
If you have FRS radios, bring them and tune to channel 5.0
Bring some liquid refreshments for the cruise, ie: water, juice, pop, etc.
Don't forget your cameras
If the sun will be shining bright that day, might be a good idea to bring some sun protection like sunscreen lotion, sunglasses and a hat, especially for those of us that ride topless.

Could be a go for us. I'm likely not going on the long walk for obvious reasons but Valerie would for sure. I'll go to Montana's and make sure the beer is fresh.
