Cool. Might need to change my brand of choice.

Parts Source no longer carries the Penzoil Platinum Synthetic and my local Penzoil Oil Change station has now changed to Jiffy Lube and they don't carry it either. Anyone know where else to get Penzoil Platinum or Penzoil Ultimate synthetics? Down to my last jug and would like to stock up.

will be picking up Mobil 1 at Wally World this w/e when we're in Carlisle, also my supply of Scotts fertilizer with halts crabgrass killer since out Province has seen fit to ban it.

Good idea, as the everyday price of a 5 quart jug of Mobil 1 in the US is $25 at Walmart! I've even heard of people finding it on rollback for $22. We haven't seen prices that low in a very long time.

Converting the PartSource deal to 5 US quarts is about CDN$25.63. Multiply by today's US exchange rate 1.09 = US$23.51. I say buy here and save more room for your fertilizer.

closest PartsSource is 50 km so 100 km at 5km/ltr X 1.24 is 24.80 so unless I buy at least 3 jugs it's still cheaper in the USA

True, but I also use 0w20 for my Honda and 0w40 for my wife's BMW, and neither of those ever get the 4.4L + 1L deals (especially since the 0w40 is only sold in 1L bottles here)

Walmart doesn't sell the Mobil 1 bundle with the 1L bottle added to the 4.4L jug though, only Partsource and Canadian Tire do that deal.
