335/30/18.

I've only been out to the track with the car once bone stock, I ran 11.96 so looking for mid 11's or better now on a tire.

I found one other thread on here somewhere and the review was positive. For me, it's what was available so I'm using them and I'll let you know how I do.

They are a excellent all around tire... Yes they are decent for 1/4 mile... The best tire for the way your car sits is exactly what I have on at the moment... The Hoosier 315/35/17 DR... I'm just waiting on my 15's now...

Default Update

Well, I went to the track Aug 30th, on the R888 and I didn't have a great time with them. Couldn't get my burnout down and it was a very hot day, so no great ET's mostly 12.0's.

Last Thursday I said eff it and ordered up ET Street II's 305/35/18, swapped them over and headed for some runs Friday night and then again Sunday.

After rushing around Friday afternoon to get the new tires and get them mounted, I headed to TMP very late and the car kept getting outta shape, so I aborted the night after the second attempt at a pass. I also had the DR's on the wrong sides of the car from rushing (Yikes!)

Sunday I straightened everything out and I went to Sparta for the day. After a couple of 12.0 shakedown runs, I got serious with my burnout finally, pulled the stock air filter and delivered 11.75 @ 122. I then ran 11.77 right after. Both of these were leaving at 3200 rpms 60' was 1.94 and 1.96.

I'm trying for a 1.7 60' so I will try leaving at higher rpms, but not sure if that will be this fall or if I pass on anymore racing this year before pulling the heads off the car. Not sure if I should push my luck. My goal stock would be 11.29 but I prolly would only get 11.40. After mods, I my target is 10.99 on the limited budget of $5-6K.
