Thanks for the heads up! I was actually going to go pick that one up today but didn't have time, so I was planning on going tomorrow. I see the sale starts on Tues so I'll go then.

I went to Princess Auto in New Market. They knew nothing about this jack let alone that it was on sale. More info please such as part number.
Thanks!

Seems like a decent jack for the money. We'll see if it stands the test of time. It has a locking mechanism at its highest lift point so that you don't need to use a jackstand. It's definitely very low profile but that said, it just fits under my car when I add a puck to it.

I went to Princess Auto in New Market this morning. I was after:

As it turns out they had none in stock but 6 on the way. They have rainchecks.
In case anyone else is interested in purchasing one.

For clearance I checked the space between my aftermarket front splitter and ground and this lift is no issue. But is the lift long enough so that it can be pushed in enough to lift on the front cross beam and still allow you to fully use the hydraulic bar dodad to lift ( or I guess pump up the lift)......??
thanks
thanks

Ignoring the one making veiled insults to the group here, I can tell you the jack will not reach under the nose of a C5 or C6 to the cross member. You don't really want to jack in the middle of the engine cross member anyways - GM doesn't recommend that as a jacking location. You should jack to one side kind of under the engine mount in that area.
I put frame rails or rocker protecting rails on my car. I jack in the middle on one side all the way up and then put 6-ton stands under the cross members on that side before reaching under the car to the other rail and jacking it up on that side.
I made my own rails from a couple of aluminum bars for free but you can buy them almost anywhere if you look for them. Here's an example of them.
