Vehicle Export to the USA
Hi Guys,
I have sold the CXT,to someone in the US.They are asking for my assistance,in the export of the vehicle into the US..Any information on the exporting ,would be helpful..

I would think that since we have to import a vehicle from the US, the buyer would have to import into the US.

You don't want to personally get involved in the export of a vehicle to the US. If the American wants it, they might look at arranging a Canadian or US broker to sort it for them. It might cost a bit, but, if you get it wrong at the border going down you could be fined the value of the vehicle or have it confiscated. Happened to a friend some years ago, so details are a bit foggy but it basically cost him the value of the car he sold.
