Good to see. My car needs a clutch and flywheel and I've been looking for a knowledgable shop to do the job. Lots of places are afraid to even put a c4 on a hook. I doubt many c4 s come in but have you repaired a Zf 6 speed?

Thank you , our GM trained staff is very talented and yes we have rebuilt the ZF 6 speed before as well we also do the full race transmission's for the new new style transmissions . We just finished doing a 6L80 that will take 1400 RWHP .

Currently we are also rebuilding a 1991 ZR1 LT5

Manny

thinking of buying a 1991 zr1, any words of wisdom? what kind of maintanence should of been done to a LT5 engine or parts replaced by 100k?

Any pictures of rebuilt LT5??

C4 ZR1 or early C5 ?? what would you buy?

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Bang for the buck and reliability the C5 is your best bet .

The C4 ZR1 / LT5 is a great package , but not many out there know to to work on these cars let alone the LT5 .

Its difficult to tell just what any used Corvette might require without seeing it first hand . The mileage is not always and indicator of what might be needed . A full fluids change would be on top of the list , followed by checking the fuel system , especially the injectors . The Magnetic ride can also very expensive and a concern .
Again I would have have someone with a good knowledge base of these cars check out any Corvette before laying down your hard earned cash .

We have just received all parts for the rebuild on the LT5 and will do a full write up on here over the next few weeks .
