If its Life, disability or Medical insurance (group or individual) I can lend a hand.

I'll see if I can get a # for you. My wife is a broker but has now taken on a management role at the brokerage she works at. She will be able to get you in touch with someone there.

You need to grab the phone book and spend a good few hours just getting quotes. RBC is really cheap but they don't deal with high risk insurance. I have them for home insurance though. TD is pretty good too, and If you are a university graduate you get a discount. with RBC I get 10% off cause im part of a union.

Try Powell Insurance Brokers in Oakville. I have 1 major and 3 minor convictions and last Oct I was shopping around, I called atleast 15 brokers with quotes ranging from $215.xx-$48x.xx. This was for 1 vehicle (2012 Chevy Equinox) and I live in Burlington so that helps with the rates. I see you are from Stoney Creek so should be even cheaper.

thought I'd see if there's any forum members in the insurance biz before I shop around elsewhere, the forum member I was dealing with for the last few years is no longer in the biz....

I use Dalton Timmis out your way Dan. They've alway seemed to treat me right.. Have 2 sleds, 3 bikes and four cars with them as well as my house and price seems fairly reasonable when I have checked around. They use Lombard for Insurer for me.

Yeah it was fun. Was pretty exciting getting my first and second 9 second passes. A blower wow, that should wake the C3 up a bit.

i dialed my finger down to the first knuckle thurs and friday, i guess i won t be swithcing brokers. the best deal i got was still 200 more than what am paying now. So, i come to the conclusion, there are no deals on insurance and they stick together with their pricing.

I made a couple calls based on some of the recommendations too and found out the same thing as well.... But wasn't necessarily looking for lower price rather was looking to support a forum member in the biz..
