Off to storage...sad day
Over at a buddies place who has a huge shop. While it's nice to have my garage "car free" for my other stuff, I'll miss seeing the Z every day

Looks like a long boring winter for you. LOL
Nice garage.
I followed you for a fair bit on the Gravenhurst ride, you have a great looking and handling
car.

I've probably got a few weeks to go yet.Waiting for the neighbours to head to Florida so I can use their garage.Nice garage & toys you have there.Unfortunately I can't share your enjoyment of winter.I spent too many winters maintaining helos in snow banks in Labrador & the Arctic & high Arctic, living on the ice fields.
Amazing how quickly storage time sneaks up on us versus unstorage time!

Ours goes away on Sunday. I have looked at it in my garage for the last three days and wonder when I'm going to have time to wash it first.. The Butter Tart run did a number on it. I'm also looking forward to the free garage space so I can get the '73 shell in there and get working on the chassis rebuild...

common mike, i am still driving and probably will drive until my drag radials no longer handle cold weather (right now looks like slicks as no tread left,,,lol).....too early i think so, the moment we get a snow and salt, i will put away, until than i keep on rocking her.

Don't forget that where he lives they probably get snow a bit earlier than us closer to the city. And since he's not storing it at home, he didn't want to get stuck having to drive it after the first snowfall. For those of us (like me) who store it at home in their own garage, it's much easier to drive it right up to the very last possible moment. So I can see why he would do it now.
Patman gets it
Last Sunday was the perfect day for the last ride, even if it was to storage. Sun/cloud mix, dry, cool temps...the Z runs like a beast in this weather
Last year I got caught with early snow and bad road conditions, which marooned the Z in my garage for the season

Where I store mine up North in a secret location, it snows much earlier. I got caught one year waiting too long into November, it would not even go up the driveway on slight incline in the snow with the summer tires. It's dangerous and irresponsible to drive these cars in the snow, unless you have winter tires which I refuse to do to my Vette. Not pushing it this year, probably store it Sunday.
ONE MORE HDR THIS WEEK!!

I'm in the same situation.

10cm? And you're only 3 hours north of us city folk.
I just hope we don't have a repeat of last year, at least, not this far south. It's fine if we have snow Nov-Feb/Mar, for ski country and snowmobiling, but I would like it gone by early April so we can get our cars out.

Snowing in Haliburton this morning. Not staying on the ground but snow none the less.
