Default Well, it's officially winter...

...if not by calendar, then certainly by snow cover and temps. Check out the map below It seems pretty early to me, I mean this is only the 3rd week of November

Could be worse for us, look at Buffalo, they are getting whacked, some say up to 5 ft before the "snow event" is over later this week.

Anyways, I am, as usual, ready. Sled is sitting patiently in the trailer, plow on the quad, fish hut ready, Equinox serviced and wearing it's winter shoes

I'll do my best to keep all you winter haters entertained with pictures of my season's adventures

To my fellow winter pals, few as you may be, please post up your exploits here too

I work just a few yards from the US border & we actually watched the storm ,while we never had a cloud in the sky.

40cm or so here since Saturday. Mounted the blower to the quad and blew out the driveway tonight for the first time.

Ugg.

Edit:
From my deer blind early last week. The left one tastes nice. Pic Taken from about 15 feet away one the first day of the hunt.

Damn autorotation

This past Sunday

Looking at the long range forecast, we've got a few days of rain and warm temps coming up on Sunday & Monday, so you could probably get it washed and then drive on dry and salt free roads on Tuesday.

400 was a mess tonight so no work, got out for about an hour and a half. Been out for a few days already; we've got about 40-50 cm on the ground, and she was coming down pretty good when I got home. Just rolled 250km for this season's total.

Can you imagine how hard it was blowing to fill in that area under the bridge. Oh my.

Haliburton got dumped on yesterday as well. Blinding snow driving home from Minden last night, not fun at all.
