As Mosport 1 says,I,m streaming it off of my Apple laptop thru the Apple TV unit.This is my first time trying this & it works GREAT!! the only thing I miss is the Speed TV crew,Bob Varsha,Steve Magnante ,Ms. Rose & the rest which contributed a lot of info,detail & behind the scenes info.As my wife just said, there's only so much of the auctioneer that one can handle. It looks like Bob V & Steve M appear to be onstage if you look closely.Speed doesn't appear to be carrying BJ though.

not missing those guys at all,, how many times did we have
to be told what a restomod was???? Magnante was the only
one who offered some real info,,
they showed more damn commercials than cars,,

Organization seems to be faltering this year.Multiple microphone failures,the guys on the Dias overriding the auctineer's microphone,speaking while the auctioneer was doing his thing,which distracted the auctioneer ,calling up the next car that wasn't there in line, calling up a car which wasn't next in lin that rolled up.....
SEVERAL bids after they closed & the car had left,the lower ticker tape showing the wrong prices, I.e. A car was shown as $347000 when it was 34000,one poor guy who waved off a 122000 bid on a 21 window VW van only to be told he won the bid.Wonder how that turned out? Seems to me the quality isn't what it once was.A lot of new state politicians seemed to grace the stage this year also..............
Just my observations so far.I agree on the commercials.

for those who don't know,, BJ isn't the only auction going on in Scottsdale,, the RM Auction is just wrapping up,, the
BIG BOYs are over there,,,, 1964 Ferrari LM just went for $8.75 mil!

There are several auctions going on in the area,soon to be read about in the various Corvette magazines,or the Internet.

I ended up having to add DiscoveryWorldHD to my digital box for $9.99 a month with a package of other channels just to get the auction. I can turn it off after.....

I will say the biggest relief for me is although it's on DWHD and Velocity at least here on Rogers, it's just all one channel. Many things changed this year with coverage, but I didn't mind too much.

Christy Lee is 100 times better than April Rose, I personally find Chris Jacobs annoying but nothing I can do about that. The rest of the coverage was very decent, it is what it is.

I feel that BJ has really changed once they introduced reserves, it's lost the "natural market" system it once had. Some guys got crazy deals before, not things just go for what they should or they don't sell.

The SuperSnake sold after it didn't make reserve on the block for $5million.

The futureliner was a good deal because Pratte restored it as well and that wasn't reflected in the price.

The blastolene was my favourite this year.

Gonna catch that last bit today and call it another year!

Never heard of "Velocity" until this weekend, but it seems to be the channel that is replacing the void SPEED left. May keep that channel after.

Lots of car shows seem to be on Discovery and History channel now too which is weird.

I watched on TV, as well as internet. For some reason I have the desire to buy a new car battery at Canadian Tire!
I believe there's at least 4 auctions going on in Arizona at the same time.
I would think the BIG BOYS have people at all of the auctions or they are bidding on the phone?
Old Ferrari prices have gone thru the roof!

Makes one wonder if the new channel is going to be called "Canadian Tire Velocity".Oh well,it will be an improvement over what we have now,I'm surprised that the CRTC didn't jam some channel that enlightens us on the struggles of francophone LGBT realtors in Canada(or something even worse )down our throats instead.TV would be totally unwatchable if it wasn't for the FFD button on the PVR...
