The first time I saw this video (maybe 5 years ago) was when it was posted by a fellow member Bishs (Gary Bishop). He has since passed away (in his 60's) and I believe he did live his dream. He had the chance to retire early, which gave him the opportunity to take many cruises with several of his Vette's, some with his wife by his side, or with her Vette also.
We miss you Gary!
Thanks for posting walleyejack, brings back memories.
Edit:
Sorry Stan, I didn't realize you posted his link.....my bad.

Been thinking about starting up a In Memorian thread though. Since I've been on, we've lost 6 great members.
Smook (Bill)
Bish (Gary)
Conz (Constantine)
Jane Hay (don't remember if she had a forum name or not)
MYRagtop (Mark)
75Stingray (Alex)
They've all managed to live their dream.

it was my first time seeing it too.
While I was giving my car one last cleanup before I put it away for the season a woman walked over to me. She said she just wanted to tell me how beautiful my car looked... She started to cry...
She told me that her son had passed away suddenly 18 months ago at 53 years old. He wanted a Corvette his whole life and was waiting for things to "settle down" before he bought one of his own...
What do you say at that point? I thanked her for telling me the story. I told her that I too had wanted one all my life and I considered myself very lucky to have found mine at age 41.
I started it up, put the top down and let her get behind the wheel. She smiled and thanked me. It was definitely one of the most unique experiences I have ever had in my life.
