Default I don't know how you guys do it!

This is my first winter with the car and I am REALLY having a hard time not being able to drive it.

I've been dealing with it by working out all of the things I'm going to do with it in the Spring... I've got most of that nailed down but it's only January 8th!

The other day I even went down and uncovered it and sat in it for an hour making motor noises...

Anybody got any helpful hints to get me through the rest of the Winter?

Thanks Stan. Never thought of it like an addiction but it really is....

At least I'm not alone.

I think I have it worse than you! Bought my car on December 2, drove it for 1 day on December 4th for maybe 100km then stored it in the garage on the 8th. Wow, 1 month ago and it feel like 3.

At least you could uncover it , sit in it and stuff! Mine is in a cover called a Car Jacket that zips up with desiccants inside. The only thing I could do is look at pictures I took before putting it away!

I park it in the neighbor's garage down the street & totally forget about it until late March. I check in on it ONCE, just to make sure the battery tender is still working.

It does get better - not easier though... You will appreciate 10 times more that first ride in the spring... I do the same being right in my garage - heated I take off the cover look at her - sit in it and then give her another coat of wax !!! we are just passionate people about our Corvettes !!!

Only one days drive before it went away!! That would have been rough...

I got mine in early September so at least I got a bit of cruising time in.

I put mine away too early (2nd week in November) and I took the insurance off so I missed out on a few good days... All lessons learned for next year.

You know... I lived in North Bay/Sturgeon Falls for a good portion of my life and I don't think I ever got to ride or drive a Ski-doo in all that time! I don't know how I missed out...

The Tech in the modern ones is truly amazing though.

It does not get any easier my friend, possibly worse with each year. Some of us even count down the days to go until next season starts (82!!)

There's lots of great driving games on PS or Xbox, it helps a bit, but of course not the same.
Mine is stored in a secret location up North. I think that might make it a bit easier as it's not staring at you, teasing you saying Drive me, start me up, give me a rev...

PS. Bruce, I can't unsee that Giff, thanks alot!

I used to put all of mines away every winter - but that's as when I was in my 20s.
My how time flys!
Now I have hit 60 & no I now longer give a damn.
I drive it like is stolen every day - with no need to store or save it for tomorrow.
But then I think they build then for us old farts with money - just for this very reason!
