Default recall on 2008 corvettes

got mine today, UBEC housing expands when the engine is warm, causing you headlight low beam relay control circuit rounded wire to bend slightly. After the wire is repeatedly bent it can fracture and separate, the low beam headlamps may not illuminate. your GM dealer will install a jumper wire.

the only other solution to this problem is replacing with a 427!

Got the same letter for my 2005, Al.

But my recommended replacement is the Z06 Convertible.

Got the same letter for my 2010 Grand Sport which I no longer own. Hope the new owner is made aware of this?

I bought my Fellows used in California, doubt there is any chance I'll get a notification. Anywhere to check?

Got the same notice this week for my 2011 - but l am not concerned to fix right away.
I don't think the engine bay can build up heat to the point of causing this problem - in minus degree weather.
Maybe I will schedule to have done next oil change?

I received one for my ex 2008, but nothing for my 2011 GS.
