recall on 2008 corvettes
got mine today, UBEC housing expands when the engine is warm, causing you headlight low beam relay control circuit rounded wire to bend slightly. After the wire is repeatedly bent it can fracture and separate, the low beam headlamps may not illuminate. your GM dealer will install a jumper wire.
the only other solution to this problem is replacing with a 427!

Got the same notice this week for my 2011 - but l am not concerned to fix right away.
I don't think the engine bay can build up heat to the point of causing this problem - in minus degree weather.
Maybe I will schedule to have done next oil change?
