Default Niagara Corvette show cancelled

Just an FYI for the forum. The Niagara Corvette clubs annual Niagara Pkwy cruise in at Fort George has been cancelled for 2015. The members voted to put the show on hiatus. They appear to be moving in a different direction, citing high work load to make the show happen. I have a copy of their newsletter in pdf if anyones interested. Just pm me.

The clubs still around. They just won't be hosting a big show anymore. They still have lots of activities and outings each year. It's a shame the new executive have killed the show after 41 years and tens of thousands of dollars to the children's centre.

The ones who will suffer the most will be the kids in need at The Niagara Peninsula Children's Centre. The club has raised a LOT of money over the years.I recall cheques for a few thousand dollars growing to cheques in the 5 figures. It takes almost 12 months to put that show together between legal issues, getting sponsors & donations. It takes a lot of time & hard work.I guess it's the only two items they couldn't come up with this year.A lot of really good people have left over this issue- unfortunately for the kids.

Yes MSRP it is with new rate 1K Military Svc discount so....happy with that... I got very lucky to find the one allocation that wasn't accounted for and then have it confirmed. Told last week Feb Consensus.

There seems to be no shortages of Z06 in the States but up here is more rare than Bigfoot. I am hoping to get one something maybe in 3 years, 8spd or a Cadillac V series if all going to plan. Remember to post pics..

we enjoyed the show last year also, going to miss that one! We have a show each civic holiday weekend Sunday and it is a lot of work but we have a good time, see a lot of nice cars and raise some much needed $$$ for local charities.
