What are the 2 or 3 best Ontario based Corvette events each year?
Hi Everyone,
As my new C7 sits idle under a cover in the garage I am absolutely dying for spring and the day get to unwrap her for some solid months of driving.
In the past i have had some great old cars and loved to attend the show &shines over the summer. Now that I am out of the old car scene and into the new car scene i was hoping for some suggestions on which events forum members would suggest in Ontario for the newer Corvettes. There seems to be no shortage of events listed on the internet and through the various corvette clubs in Ontario
So my question becomes what are the 2-3 must do events for corvette owners in Ontario?
Appreciate the insight!

Am in the same position... would be great to know what events are available, and if there is a calendar of such...will def be at Carlisle this year though and maybe we can all head up as a group...new and older Vette owners alike that are going.

Carlisle is great, the Woodward Dream Cruise is another biggy,
As far as the best local ones go - Manny Dasilva has a charity car show in the spring at his shop, Pete and Rob at Champion Motors usually have a get together/BBQ or other function at their shop, then there's the Sherway GTG but it's not at Sherway anymore...
bunch of cruises come up as well ...

Every Thursday night there is the HDR (Hot Dog Run) or aka RPR (Randy's Pizza Run)...which are a bunch of Corvettes meeting up at Yorkdale parking lot around 9-10 pm and then cruising Yonge St. and then for pizza or a hot dog. The run is informal show up if you can. I'm not sure but I think there have been as many as 25 cars or so on some nights and its always a blast. Best cruise of the year and it happens every week! Stan aka Zeeman 28a is the man in charge; just look for his posts.

The first three that come to mind are listed below however there are many great events across Ontario between right here in the Corvette Forum to the various Corvette Clubs.
1. Corvette Corral @ Canadian Tire Motorsport Park - July 9-12
2. Wasaga Beach Corvette Weekend - Aug 15-16
3. Corvette For Kids Road Tour - Sept 13

I am going to make at least one HDR this year. Long drive for me but I have enjoyed Stan's outings so much I want to participate in the Thursday night fun.
