Default oil analysis

took a sample of oil in a while back, and had it analysed and received the results a few weeks ago. not happy about now, i think, i don t really understand all the % and things, but they had chromium level high, hilighted in yellow, everything else appeared to be ok. the oil only had about 1500km on it, said 30 parts per, on the sheet, maybe it is nothing, but in the notes, says should get it looked at right away. guess i shouldn t have had it done. haha. was just concerned that it was turning very dark after a few miles. but then i thought it was oil that was in the oil cooler that does not drain out that was discoloring the new oil. will see how the summer goes.

yes, that what i was afraid of..not sure what constitutes high levels. just looked the file up. i shouldn t say high levels, says abnormal. 14 ppm. 2 - 3 is abnormal, 4 critical.
not sure if that is high, i guess it is unusual. thanks for your input.

Al - where did you take your oil to be tested. Or if anyone else can recommend a place - thanks.
